GALLERY NEWS
Some of you may not know we do FIRE AND WATER DAMAGE RESTORATION.
Not only can we treat your artwork and framing for smoke damage, but we can give you appraisal
value for your insurance company, when needing replacement cost.

We have done lots of appraisals for art collectors this year.  May we remind you to have your artwork appraised for your insurance file.  Its also costs little more to itemize your artwork and list as total replacement value on your insurance policy. We charge 75.00 an hour but most appraisals don't take more than a couple hours.  Worth it though for if heaven forbid you had a loss.

WHAT'S HOT
Grays are still booming in the  color palette and combine this with soft white woodwork. Against these colors, gives a great accent pop to your artwork and accessories. Try to have a continuity
run through your home.

Taupe is still a still popular color  in most of the country, but consider a touch of blue too. This is great with taupe and cream. Check out the wood flooring in the gray tones.  Add something "unexpected" into your design. If your house is contemporary, frame a piece of art or mirror in a baroque frame. Mix your art up, you don't need one style of artwork. If you have a traditional home, try a contemporary piece and see how it fits in.  When it comes to accessories, think bigger. We all have too many small collectibles; like a painting has a focal point, so does a room. If at all possible, buy a piece of original art. At our gallery, we let customers pay on it monthly. It costs the same to frame an original as a print. We also have some beautiful giclees on canvas.

GET HELP
Even if you have good taste, it helps to have a designer.  Some only charge cost plus so you end
up paying no more than you would have originally.  They can also help you from costly mistakes that can't be returned.  The stores must show trendy things and its easy to get hung up with these things.
If you want you can use these things as small accents, then replace them when you get tired of them.
I love working with my clients to find special things that fit their taste and budget.
